Are Londoners really going to accept the Olympic Funding agreement IMPOSED ON THEM BY THE GOVERNMENT AND THE MAYOR OF LONDON whereby they even have to pay for a share of any financial losses created by incompetence, bad planning, bad workmanship, over costed estimates, and plain old over priced contracts ?   How can Londoners have any confidence in any of them with the financial disasters of the WEMBLEY STADIUM - THE DIANA MEMORIAL FOUNTAIN and the SCOTTISH PARLIAMENT BUILDING(see page "Sub Standard Work - Who Pays) to read about the latest faults discovered on the Scottish Parliament Building and which is going to cost - goodness knows how much, of taxpayers money to put right.  -    AND THEY WANT LONDONERS TO PAY TOWARDS ANY "OVERSPENDS" ON THE 2012 OLYMPIC PROJECTS ! - THEY REALLY DO THINK WE ARE ALL MAD DON'T THEY ?  In view of the shambles surrounding just these three projects, which have overun the original estimates by hundreds, and hundreds of millions of pounds, and which are going to cost many millions more to put right (repair) can any Londoner say that he/she agrees to accept a share of any losses the 2012 London Olympic buildings may incur. ?     *** Some weeks after the opening of the Scottish Parliament Building a beam in the debating chamber broke away !

**   Three years late -Ten times over budget  the Scottish Parliament  Building won an award for its complex design " EXECUTED WITH SKILL " from the UK Civic Trust - 10 times over budget and three years overdue, and it "wins" an award ! ! ! !

Once we accept the 10/12 Olympic Tax on our Council Tax we are, by implication, accepting a share of the losses, which may run into far more than the three projects above.      Londoners will share the losses whilst the moneymen, the developers and the contractors slink away with the profits - Thanks to Tessa Jowell, and the London MP's
